Reporting to the Director of Business Development, Business Development Representatives (BDR) are responsible for sales prospecting and qualifying new potential national partners from across the United States and Canada.


While working in a remote environment, you will be responsible for supplying the Enterprise Sales team with qualified leads by arranging meetings with prospective clients, screening and qualifying these clients, then adding them to the qualified leads pipeline to be later contacted by the Enterprise Sales team.

job responsibilities:



  • grow the new business pipeline through prospecting on outbound opportunities.
  • identify and research prospective enterprise or national level customers for our last mile delivery solutions
  • target prospect buyers who will be in industries such as retail, construction, supply chain, warehousing, third party logistics, just to name a few
  • contact these prospects by phone, email, and linkedin
  • conduct meetings by video or phone with prospects to qualify the opportunity and to ensure mutual alignment with what gofor can offer
  • transfer qualified leads to the enterprise sales team so that the opportunity can be vetted at a deeper level and eventually become a gofor partner
  • achieve monthly goals for calls, meetings, and qualified leads
  • enter all sales data into our crm (hubspot) and keep it up to date daily
  • come to work everyday determined to learn, willing to compete and able to teach your teammates something new.

 


experience:


before applying you should have:

 

  • 2-3 years in sales; 1 year min. experience performing lead generation or outbound sales duties
  • experience working with hubspot crm, zoominfo, and linkedin sales navigator would be an asset
  • post-secondary diploma in business administration would be an asset
  • logistics experience would be an asset
  • proficiency in english is required, additional languages would be an asset.

  • proficiency in microsoft office
  • exceptional time management planning and prioritization skills
  • ability to research prospects and convert them to qualified leads
  • self motivated personality that can persuade prospective customers
  • great communicator (both verbal and written)
  • ensure that you always represent the company professionally
